Did you know that Amanda was born an raised right here in Annapolis? For 13 years it had been her dream to serve the amazing people of her own community. Amanda couldn't be more honored and excited at the idea of assisting local brides and their wedding parties!
Here is a little about Amanda and where her business began.
As a prospective customer it is important you understand Amanda is no stranger to hard work. As a matter of fact she has worked in the retail business for her entire career. In 1996 Amanda began her cosmetic career behind the makeup counter at Hecht Company and later continued to grow into a management position at Nordstrom. It didn’t take long for her and her clients to realize she possessed the ability to make people feel welcome, comfortable and ultimately better than they felt before sitting in her makeup chair.
That unique personality trait continues to be the key to her brand’s success and the reason her business continues to grow. In 2004 Amanda left Nordstrom and opened her own Bridal Hair and Makeup business. The rapid growth of Makeup Artistry by Amanda quickly became the driving force behind Amanda Ritchey Bridal.
In January of 2009 Amanda opened her Fallston location and was the very first bridal salon to include an on location “Beauty Team” . Her Beauty business continued to flourish and a sister company was created. Two years after opening the Fallston Location, Amanda expanded and opened her second store, better known as Amanda Ritchey Bridal of BALTIMORE.
Our Baltimore location became the home of our CURVY brand BUXOM BRIDAL which caters to the full figured bride. The AR brand continues to grow in popularity among engaged couples and is very well respected among industry insiders. We are so very excited to finally bring to you...
